**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, filling cracks, and removing old paint
- Protect surrounding areas and furniture with drop cloths or masking tape
- Ensure clean and professional finish on all jobs
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Follow company safety protocols and Ontario Building Code standards
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Complete projects on time and within scope

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum 4 years of professional painting experience (residential & commercial)**:

- Experience with **kitchen cabinet resprays, decks, and fences** is required
- Knowledge of paints, stains, finishes, and surface preparation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
