We currently have an employment opportunity for a full time **Hotel Sales Coordinator** with Opera Cloud experience (a must), to join our team.

The position reports directly to the Director of Sales.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Respond to sales leads within 24 hours;
- Generate customized rate proposals, contracts, and BEOs;
- Accurately manage group space, cut-offs, rooming lists, and deposits in Opera Cloud;
- Maintain lead and booking status;
- Coordinate with the sales department, restaurant, front office, and revenue management to ensure cohesive execution;
- Occasionally assist with site visits and events on weekends / evenings;
- Manage hotel website reviews, social media posts, and newsletter design & distribution;
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales, or the Hotel General Manager.

**MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2-5 years in a hotel sales coordinator role, or similar / related hospitality role;
- Direct hands-on experience using Opera Cloud (Sales, Events, BEOs, group blocks, reporting);
- Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience using the Microsoft Office 365 Suite of programs;
- Detail oriented and numerical aptitude is a must;
- Ability to work under deadline pressures;
- A Post-secondary education in a tourism or hospitality field is an asset.
