**Job Overview**:
As a Sales & Event Coordinator specializing in Groups & Catering at Paradox Hotel Vancouver, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of weddings and social events. Your responsibilities will encompass event planning and coordination, sales support and administrative tasks to guarantee the success of the department.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Event Planning & Coordination**:
1. Coordinate all aspects of weddings and social events, including room setups, F&B catering arrangements, and audio-visual requirements.

2. Work closely with the culinary and banquet teams to ensure menu selections align with client preferences.

3. Provide on-site coordination during events to guarantee a flawless experience for clients and guests.

**Catering Services**:
1. Oversee catering details, ensuring timely delivery, setup, and service.

2. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of catering options and continuously update menus to meet client demands.

**Sales Administration**:
1. Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and event details.

2. Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

3. Provide administrative support to Sales department.

4. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of events.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in sales, event coordination, or hospitality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Salary**: $25.50-$28.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- banquet & event: 2 years (required)
- Hotel: 1 year (preferred)
