**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare a monthly production plan based on sales volume.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Supervise and participate in daily production, ensuring workflow runs smoothly and production targets are met.
- Recruit, schedule, and train production staff to meet output needs while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Finalize and maintain HACCP implementation; ensure compliance with CFIA regulations and internal food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Work with QA personnel to uphold high product standards, conduct inspections, and respond to issues with prompt corrective actions.
- Conduct regular inspections, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate repairs on facility equipment and infrastructure.
- Assist with fermenting, processing, packaging, and fabrication tasks as needed to maintain
- Maintain immaculate production and compliance records.
- Develop and update SOPs and work instructions to ensure consistency and ease of training.
- Analyze workflow, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve throughput and product consistency.

**Requirements**:

- 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity with a minimum 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment required
- Bachelor’s degree and work-related majors are required.
- Working knowledge of HACCP and CFIA food safety requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude; able to troubleshoot and communicate repair needs
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on production setting
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Capable of maintaining detailed records and documentation
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a drive to improve systems and processes

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
