Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to the President, the **Marketing Coordinator** will be an integral member of the team who is responsible for working with individual departments to increase the Company’s exposure and profile in new and existing industries.
In collaboration with our team, you will help revolutionize our digital presence, optimizing websites, blogs, social media, and campaigns to magnetize and engage qualified customers and promoting our company within through internal marketing campaigns. You will develop innovative marketing and promotional strategies to reach various market sectors and take pride in completing full cycle project management responsibilities in marketing and you thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify growth opportunities and value-added social media/digital marketing solutions to increase exposure to our products and services.
- Work with various departments to understand their needs and formulate ideas, plan, strategize and create content.
- Be the main point of contact for day-to-day operations and communicate with department managers regularly to provide updates.
- Develop, track and work within marketing budget to carry out all marketing functions (collateral, website, promotions, trade shows, advertisements etc.).
- Track success rates of marketing campaigns and initiatives and report bi-weekly.
- Lead and manage creation, production, review, and scheduling of strategic digital content such as graphics, videos, blog posts, and campaigns.
- Obtain quotes and work with external designers/printers for marketing collateral that cannot be created in-house.
- On a regular basis, create new content for website - perform general updates and maintenance on website.
- On a regular basis, create and update content for our social media outlets (Linked In, Twitter etc ).
- Develop topics, write content, create layout, and circulate e-newsletter.
- Assist in preparation of content for all marketing material including both external (editorials, website, brochures, signage) as well as internal (i.e. letterhead, font usage) to ensure uniformity and consistency.
- Create and maintain relationships with editors, writers, publishers etc in the industry to increase company exposure in print and on-line media.
- Work with internal staff, external agencies, and clients to organize industry workshops, training opportunities and promotional events.
- Coordinate, attend and organize staff participation in trade shows, organize booth marketing and promotional collateral etc.
- Distribute and track marketing collateral.
- Research, register and maintain industry directory listings, association memberships etc.;
- Conduct market research, stay up to date on the latest social media trends and implement them in marketing campaigns.
- Some travel required.
**Qualifications and Required Experience**:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an e marketing role in a fast paced, service-oriented environment.
- Proven experience in website creation or content management.
- Effective communicator, both written and oral - technical writing skills an asset.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong sense of creativity, innovation, high-energy professional who takes initiative.
- Strong computer and design skills, including working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and other design software etc.
**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
