Summary:
The focus in a direct sales capacity, is toward delivering revenue growth through the development of new revenue streams related to regional entry, expansion, creation of new distribution partners and business development of currently served regions. Also, the ongoing maintenance and development of existing customers within all channels of distribution globally, is a critical component to delivering organic growth.

Job Functions:

- Execute all primary functions as relates to in market execution either directly or indirectly against strategic initiatives. This should include development of pricing models, quarterly promotions, product bundling strategies, account management coverage schemes, etc.
- Create and support the development of new global distribution channels
- Develop new revenue streams either through existing customer growth or development of new customer relationships
- Maintain productive, profitable and friendly business relationships with clients and potential clients
- Promotional and competitive product analysis including pricing and price/performance analysis for major markets
- Report and communicate sales forecasts, order activity, stages of negotiations, pricing levels and competitive information for specified initiatives
- Maintain CRM to ensure timely communication of all sales funnel activity is communicated to relevant internal stakeholders
- Schedule and maintain constant contact with all NIX external resellers related to the Print industry to ensure activity levels are commensurate with revenue generation requirements
- Provide input to new product launch plans, including marketing communications activities, sales training and coordinating/attending trade shows where products are introduced
- Assist to create appropriate strategies to ensure competitive edge
- Assist in developing annual operating budgets and monitor and control monthly expenses to plan
- Promote the mission and values of the organization both internally and externally
- Perform other duties as required

Job Related Requirements:

- Print & Graphic Arts industry experience is essential
- Working knowledge of the Print stakeholder chain and the various aspects of serving these specific influencers is beneficial
- Some experience with color science would be a plus
- Experience selling technology related to delivering added customer value would be a strong asset
- Ability to travel (domestic/international) as required (customers; other sales offices; tradeshows; sales meetings; other company meetings)
- Multiple language ability is not required but would be beneficial
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent organizational, strategic planning and implementing skills
- Able to meet deadlines
- Confident in decision making with regards to determining project guidelines, purpose, follow through and completion
- Understanding of financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
- Business development skills are crucial to delivering required results
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
