**Front Desk / Guest Services Representative **positions are available at the **Quality Inn & Suites** **Vancouver Downtown**. An exciting hotel located in the heart of Vancouver's entertainment district. The Guest Services Representative must have a friendly and welcoming attitude.

While standard duties include guest check-in and check-out, in this position you will also be responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment guests arrive at the hotel until they check out, take and check room reservations, and have constant guest relations.

**Abilities required**:

- Knowledge of ChoiceAdvantage property management system
- Prior Hotel Front Desk experience is an asset
- Maintain a balanced float assigned by the hotel and balance the all transactions at the close of each shift
- Excellent knowledge of the city, restaurants, shopping and attractions
- Able to communicate with guests in a pleasing manner in a variety of situations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization skills and able to multi-task

Must be a people person, but most of all, you must be able to work well in a team environment.

The ability to speak additional languages is an advantage.

**Additional Information**:

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
