**JOB SUMMARY**

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Assist with data entry, and input training documentation
- Set up, maintain, organize, and file relevant HR documents and files
- Digitize - scan paper documents to electronic files
- Update employee information
- Assist in answering employee questions and concerns and participate in departmental Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Complete checklist items for employee status changes and updates as required.
- Prepare new hire offer letters, notices, general employee memos, ect
- Assist with new employee orientation sessions.
- Coordinate recruitment support activities, including drafting job postings on internal and external recruitment sites, and screening resumes.
- Assist in conducting phone interviews and first round with applicants
- Assist with general HR programs and initiatives
- Assist with the Temporary Foreign Worker program
- Other admin support as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**

An effective HR Admin Student must have the following:

- Positive, outgoing personality
- Some experience in a similar role would be an asset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- An ability to understand and adapt to the employment culture at Stubbe’s
- Very strong attention to detail and focus on data integrity
- Professional demeanour and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Demonstrate expert proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office Applications
- Ability to take the initiative and work independently
