**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain all contract administration throughout the contract life cycle including approval, compliance, execution, amendments, and renewal
- Source tenders, accurately prepare all tender paperwork and potential projects documentation including Bonds and insurance certificates if required for contract
- Process reporting, quantity measurements, billing, claims and payment certifications
- Ensures compliance of contract requirements by confirming all conditions are met before the approval of the final invoice and prepare Statutory Declarations as required
- Receive requests, create estimates, update records, initiate paperwork and follows up on request for approval of work not previously covered in the contract
- Establishes and updates records of all correspondence related to contract activity
- Develop, process, and implement contractual documents and change notices in a timely manner
- Provide administrative support and project coordination as required
- Responsible for fleet management including licencing, maintenance files, fleet monitoring, permits and insurance renewals
- Assist with human resources (recruitment and selection), health and safety program, in house training and scheduling third party training for employees
- Inform management of any new or conflicting legislative matters that could impact operations, costs, and/or health and safety, ensuring full compliance of all level of government legislation
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in contract administration or a similar role is preferred.
- Must be well-verse in legal terminology relating to tenders and contracts
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and be able to multi-task
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
- Experience and knowledge in the construction industry
- Ability to interpret construction contracts
- Experience preparing and issuing procurement documentation
- Excellent verbal and written English skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness and ability to easily learn new software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A customer service mindset to address client needs promptly and professionally.
- Personal transportation required as we are not on a bus route

Pay: From $67,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-01-06
