Are you passionate about creating content and writing copy? Do you love dogs? Do you love being on Social Media all day studying and researching trends? Want to get paid and pet dogs? Woof Concept is currently in search for **a highly creative and personable **Social Media and Content Strategist to join our team. The Social Media and Content Strategist will be responsible for overseeing Woof Concept’s social media channels as well as formulating, leading and executing our content strategy. Although the position provides a hybrid work arrangement (remote and office), we are not accepting remote-only applicants at this time **Responsibilities**: - Ability to adapt and have a good understanding of our branding — image, aesthetics, brand voice, etc. - Create relative and creative content while working within the brand guideline and aesthetic. - Write engaging, relevant and “on brand” copy for our social media content and captions - Assist in the creation of our social media strategy and editorial calendar - Research on potential post ideas/topics - Find ways to improve our social media presence and grow our follower base - Find trending sounds and hashtags - Regularly create social media content including Instagram stories, carousel posts, reels, and TikTok — be able to pump out content fast and quick (everyday) - Actively engage with our followers across all platforms - Monitor analytics and data to identify areas of improvement & constantly provide ideas for growth - Aid in copywriting for packaging design and website content when needed - Assist in creating video ads when needed **Requirements**: - at least 1-3 years of copywriting experience - at least 1-2 years of experience in Social Media Management - You have experience working with Reels, Stories, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook - You are extremely creative and a great story teller that loves to write and make content - You are great at finding answers and a problem solver - You have a unique sense of humor and can easily translate this into your copy - Have experience writing blogs, storytelling, social media ad copy, website copy - Must have some basic understanding of SEO - You must be a dog lover - Knowledge of Canva is a must - Stay updated with trends and concepts to grow our social media platforms - Degree in a relevant field preferably focused in writing or have industry experience - Must have a high degree of business acumen - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Previous pet industry experience will be an asset **Highlights** - Positive energy - Creative and Detail-oriented - Passionate about content creation - Result-oriented mindset - No last minute — organized and a planner - You are comfortable being on camera - Ability to work in a fast paced and start up environment - Have a growth mindset and be prepared to work on “off hours” due to the need to post regularly and consistently on Instagram and Tik Tok. **Benefits** - Remote and Hybrid work arrangement - Dental and Medical Coverage - Access to the latest and greatest technology - Employee Insurance - Paid Time Off - Flexible working schedule - Stock Options **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $21.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Profit sharing - Store discount - Vision care - Work from home Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Commission pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Marketing: 1 year (preferred) - Social Media Management: 1 year (preferred) - Copywriting: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
