**About Us**:
Little Icons is a portrait photography company that specializes in beautiful, playful, and classic, black and white portraits of children. At the heart of our mission is the drive to encourage children to feel seen, loved, and valued. We hope that through their experience with us, and by finding themselves in images that they are proud of, we can contribute to each child’s confidence in some way.

Both our photographic style, and brand, have more of an editorial feel than you’d expect for a children centred company. We operate as a pop up studio in all kinds of beautiful boutiques and shops, offering monthly events. Currently we have 11 photographers working across Canada and the U.S. We aim to grow that number to nearly double this year.

**Position Overview**:We are hiring for a full-time Marketing/Social Media/Communications role. You would handle day-to-day marketing tasks, including copy writing (without chat GPT), managing our social media channels, graphic design, website, and reaching out to connect with strategic partners.

We are looking for someone who brings good energy to team interactions and collaborations in the workplace. A person who isn’t bound by convention or perceived rules in marketing, creativity, and problem solving. Someone who collaborates open heartedly, and is a great believer in possibility Ideal attributes include: high level of emotional intelligence and self awareness, connection to purpose, working well independently, proactive, highly organized, great aesthetic sense, and a strong belief in the power/importance of words.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate creatively to build and implement digital ad campaigns.
- Manage online ads for monthly events, and brand awareness.
- Oversee and maintain Little Icons' social media accounts (including tracking and managing analytics.)
- Develop and execute social media content creation.
- Communication: with team members across the company, and our strategic partners

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated Excellence in digital marketing and social media
- Practical insight regarding social media platforms, website management, and SEO.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Creative writing skills.
- Ability to work independently, and manage multiple projects
- Adaptability and openness to growing with the company and its evolving roles.
- Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle
- Must live in Edmonton or surrounding area
- Must work out of our head office (downtown Edmonton) daily.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
