This is a rare employment opportunity to work for a growing beauty and cosmetics company, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta

This is a remote/hybrid role best suited for someone based in Edmonton or Calgary and will require attending photoshoots and content creation days on set or in-office occasionally.

Working alongside the Creative Team, the Social Media Specialist will be tasked with overseeing and assisting in conceptualizing, designing, executing, and managing content across various social media outlets, with duties including, but not limited to:

- Assisting in development & managing the brand's social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest
- Creating and editing content such as reels, tik toks and static posts
- Monitoring SEO and traffic metrics;
- Monitoring social media KPI’s;
- Measuring and tracking the success of various and concurrent social media campaigns;
- Working with graphic designer and copywriter to ensure content remains on-brand;
- Communicating with influencers and industry, creating strong public relations for the brand
- Maintains strict adherence to brand vision and aesthetics;
- Possesses exceptional communication and time management skills;
- Shows creative flexibility, with exceptional attention to detail;
- Can perform/thrive under tight deadlines;
- Works well alone, or in a team setting;
- Is tech-savvy, and is open to learning new platforms/apps/programs,
- Is familiar with industry-related hashtags

Qualifications/Education/Skills (preferred but not mandatory):

- 3+ years past work experience in either social media management, fashion, beauty, marketing, and/or advertising
- College/University degree (currently studying/recently graduated) in either fashion, marketing, advertising, design, communications and/or media
- Strong working knowledge of the following platforms/apps/programs: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest (preferred), LinkedIn (preferred)

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
