We are currently seeking a **Part Time Chaplain with CPE training** to join our growing and dynamic team

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- As an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team, this individual will provide spiritual guidance, supportive counselling and companioning to the Residents, Family Member and Staff.
- Actively involved in care team meetings and different committees.
- This individual will offer crisis and grief counselling as needed.
- Assist with all religious services and if requested conduct funeral and memorial services.
- Ensure the offering of Holy Communion to Roman Catholic Residents and respond to other religious needs of other faith traditions as required.
- Compassion for, and genuine interest in working with the elderly, persons with disabilities and those approaching the End of Life is essential as well as a respect for all religious beliefs and practices.

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**:

- CASC training and current membership is required
- A Theological/Religious Studies degree is required
- End of Life Care experience is required
- Long Term Care experience is required
- Spiritual Care Assessment, Care planning and documentation skills are an asset
