We are currently seeking a **Full Time Chaplain with CPE training** to join our caring and compassionate team The successful applicant will have the amazing opportunity to provide spiritual care for both Long Term Care Residents, and individuals who are at the end of their lives, receiving Hospice Care at Margaret’s Place.

**You will be required to**:

- Provide spiritual guidance and support to the residents, family members and staff
- Offer emotional/spiritual support through the end of life, and grief and bereavement support after death
- As an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team, provide spiritual guidance, supportive counselling and companioning to the residents, family members and staff
- Have compassion and a genuine interest in working with the elderly and those who are receiving End of Life Care
- Assist with/lead religious services and ensure the offering of Holy Communion to Roman Catholic residents
- Be actively involved in care team meetings
- Respect all religious beliefs and practices
- Complete all required documentation

**Experience & Education**:

- You must possess CASC (Canadian Association of Spiritual Care) training and hold a current membership in good standing
- A degree in Religious Studies/Theology or related studies is required
- End of Life Care Training, Care Planning, Experience Documenting in PointClickCare and Long Term Care Experience will be an asset
