The Finance Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of Payworks’ Finance team by handling essential administrative accounting duties in an accurate and timely manner. Reporting to the Controller, this dynamic position will provide support to both the Accounting and Payroll teams and actively contribute to projects that improve productivity and organizational success. **ENSURE SMOOTH OPERATIONS** - IT’S WHAT YOU’LL DO***:

- ** Keep Payments on Track -**Using your superior organizational skills, you will successfully manage multiple financial processes. This includes both accounts payable and receivable, plus commercial credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements. You will be responsible for ensuring all payments are timely and accurate.
- ** Communicate and Collaborate -**Supporting the month-end close process, you will assist with reconciling financial data. Additionally, you will contribute to financial analysis and decision-making by generating reports for the Payroll and Accounting teams.
- ** Support Our People -**You will act as a support resource for the Payroll team, preparing basic employee reimbursements such as expenses and service awards, ensuring accurate and timely payment for our people.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED**:

- Post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent experience of 1-3 years in an accounting role.
- Proven experience in an administrative role with exceptional organizational skills.
- Experience in the payroll or tech industry is an asset, but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges is essential
- Experience using Oracle NetSuite is a plus, while strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is necessary.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, both independently and in a team setting.
- Exceptional mathematical skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills paired with clear and professional written and verbal communication.
- Flexibility to juggle shifting priorities, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy.
