**What We’re Looking For**

We are currently seeking a highly motivated **Accounting Coordinator** to support the delivery of quality business performance management and reporting. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with some previous Co-op/Internship experience in accounting at an organization.

The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with senior team members to record transactions in the accounting system, and provide support by analyzing data for errors and inaccuracies. This role will assist with month, quarter, and year close processes. They will also be responsible for preparing vendor payments, managing the invoicing system, following up on outstanding client invoices, and providing support for other ad hoc accounting tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**
- General accounting-related administrative duties; including but not limited to general bookkeeping using Quickbooks Online
- Performing cheque deposits and bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month, quarter and year-end close processes;
- Accurately process record transactions in the accounting system including A/R, A/P, remittance advice and employee expense reimbursements, etc.
- Ongoing management of our Invoicing system, correcting errors as required
- Provide support for ad hoc accounting and finance tasks as required
- Responds to general inquiries from both internal and external sources about policies, procedures, deadlines, and status of accounting-related transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by building and maintaining both internal and external relationships, responding to a variation of requests as needed

**Qualifications**:

- A College diploma, University degree in Finance or Accounting or related experience
- Experience of 1-2 years minimum in a similar role
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Advance Excel, etc.)and Google Workspace
- Laser - focused attention to detail
- Problem solving & results oriented mindset
- Ability to be in office 3x / week
