Do you have experience supporting families in creating and implementing comprehensive respite plans and want to empower Individuals with Autism to fully participate in their communities? If so, we encourage you to apply.
Core Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Facilitate and oversee intake of respite clients (children, youth and adults)
- Provide short term case management to develop comprehensive respite plan in collaboration with families to include education on options and funding
- Develop and facilitate workshops/clinics for families and community agency staff
- Attend and contribute at community tables to include connecting with community partners to ensure a good understanding of respite services being offered in the city of Toronto
- Assist with community fairs and outreach as needed
- Maintain up to date collateral information such as respite guides, orientation/consent materials, meeting minutes etc.
- Input data information into Salesforce database in a timely fashion to ensure business continuity and client service
- Liaise with community partners to ensure a good understanding of respite services being offered in the city of Toronto
- University degree in a related field
- 3 years’ experience working in a related discipline including providing support to families with ASD
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- In depth knowledge of services for adults and children with special needs in the GTA
- Experience in providing community-based services to individuals with special needs and their families
- Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with clients
- Strong proficiency in web, databases and Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with Salesforce an asset
- Excellent time management and problem solving abilities
- Demonstrate strength as a team player
- Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
- Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19
Working Conditions:
- Seated for long periods of time
- Standing for long periods of time for presentations

**Salary**: $63,873-$70,889
