**We currently have an opportunity for a Permanent Part-time Facilities Cleaner at our centre in Oakville, ON. The role is 16 hours of work per week.**

Reporting to the Business Manager, the Facilities Cleaner will ensure the centre is cleaned to Health Department standards to provide a hygienic living environment. This position is covered by Ontario Public Service Employees Union and its Local 213.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, scrub garbage collection and disposal.
- Clean and disinfect washroom and fixtures.
- Use machine to clean floors in the corridors and the main kitchen.
- Care and maintenance of equipment.
- Collect and sort recyclable material.
- Collect and prepare bio-hazardous waste for disposal.
- Assist with facility and room set up, take down and disinfecting.
- Supporting other Housekeeping Staff

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum High School Graduate
- Two years’ custodial/janitorial experience preferred.
- Experience in a secure residential setting would be considered an asset.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment and safety.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

**Kinark Child and Family Services conditions of employment include but are not limited to successful Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, completed Pre-Employment Medical certificate, and proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.** Fully vaccinated is defined as having received all required doses of a World Health Organization Approved COVID-19 Vaccine at least one of which being approved for use in Canada and 14 days have passed since your last dose.
