The Operations Coordinator is to oversee the administrative processes, as well as the program execution, of the Graybar Canada Operations team. Providing administrative support as needed for the development of our Quality, Safety, and Environmental programs, Operations Projects, and other department areas as required.

**Major Requirements**:
- Review, develop, and implement environment, health and safety policy and changes
- Assist in improvement/change, communication, and implementation of quality system processes
- Direct or assist in the development of training materials, including job site procedures
- Conduct training to ensure team is aware of requirements
- Conduct accident / incident investigation and work with management to prepare recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimize future recurrence
- Plan and organize safety and environmental culture enhancement activities
- Maintain an up-to-date database of all safety training including records
- Assist in managing workplace injury statistics and workers’ compensation service supplier records for premium
- Interpret and communicate various policies, procedures, regulations etc. to team
- IIC member participation
- Customer and Supplier qualifications and evaluations
- Coordinate meetings and work collectively with Operations Project Manager to manage planning process, task lists, quotes, documentation, and schedules.
- Coordinate meetings and work collectively with Quality Specialist to ensure efficient change management including document management
- Maintain infrastructure maintenance records
- Maintain asset management list
- Maintain building lease, taxes, assessment records
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience:
- College diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience leading committees/teams as well as developing and maintaining administrative processes and schedules is preferred.
- Ability to research and interpret government regulations. Experience with Health and Safety legislation and ISO 9001, 14001, 18001/45001 or equivalent standards considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to attend additional training as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and facilitate meetings.
- Strong interpersonal skills as an influencer and team player.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide superior customer service for internal customers.
- Must exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
