Come join our Head Office team and be part of the exciting, behind the scenes aspect of the retail industry We are seeking a high energy, organized and analytical individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. This person will coordinate purchasing of products and supplies to fill store orders, manage inventory and analyze costs.

**What will you do?**
- Develop and improve supplier quality, cost and delivery performance
- Order supplies from vendors and coordinate shipping
- Maintain inventory, tracking inventory levels and anticipating reorder points to prevent shortages
- Ensuring purchase and pricing records are accurate
- Coordinate store orders for supplies and process these orders
- Review, compare and analyze products and market conditions (i.e.: cost, availability, lead-time)
- Develop and maintain good supplier relations
- Research and evaluate prospective suppliers locally and overseas
- Undertake regular cost-analysis
- Manage supply chain risk to mitigate supply disruptions
- Planning and coordinating international shipments, including overseas container loads, with customs brokers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure compliance and timeliness
- Additional duties as required

**Who are you?**
- Experience in procurement or supply chain considered an asset
- Must be a high energy, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Analytical skills are a must
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Must be able to multitask and manage time well
- Comfortable on ladders, lifting, physical labour and being on your feet
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
