***Title**: Regional Controller

**Reports To**: Director, Regional Accounting

**Indirect Reporting To**: VP Operations

**Position Summary**: The Regional Controller position serves as the primary financial analysis and accounting resource at the regional level working in partnership with the operations team. Primary accountabilities include finalization of Regional Reporting Packages, AGI/NORR Process, forecasting, budgeting and CAPEX accounting.

**Responsibilities**:

- In consultation with Operations; reviews, and manages the Regional Financial Reporting and budgeting.
- Management and supervision of Real Estate Analysts.
- Responsible for forecasting.
- Reviews variance commentary from operations.
- Manage property specific schedules and prepare regional/portfolio level analysis.
- Responsible for the review of regulatory reporting.
- Review of potential AGI, NORR and fixation and maintenance of Regional continuity schedules
- Manage realty tax accounting & analysis.
- Assist in the requirements of acquisitions and dispositions of properties.
- Manage financial aspect of tenant legislation in respective province.
- Liaise with external parties as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Other duties as assigned by reporting manager.

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma or University degree in Accounting or Business
- Designated - CPA, CA, CMA, CGA
- Five or more years of financial statement preparation experience
- Experience in managing and performing budget analysis
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and internal controls
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, in French and English
- Strong leadership, organizational and team management skills
- Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP and BPC
