**Administrative Assistant**

Patient Transport Services is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for an entry-level full-time permanent position.

Training will take place Monday to Friday 7:30am - 15:30 pm. After training is complete the successful applicant will work Monday to Friday 09:00- 1700.

**Key Responsibilities and duties**
- Invoicing, billing and completing work orders
- Explaining billing procedures to clients
- Data Processing
- Drafting, editing and proof-reading prepared documents
- Filing and organizing internal office documents
- Screening & Greeting visitors / appointment scheduling coordination
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive health information, as mandated by the Personal Health Information Act
- Must maintain internal policies and procedures for infection control

**Qualifications**:
1-2 years experience in an office environment preferred along with the following:

- Typing Skills: 65 words per minute required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Have a keen attention to detail and be able to multitask projects
- General computer/program proficiency (Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
- Professional personal presentation

**Documents and certificates required for employment**:

- Clear Criminal Record with vulnerable sector
- Adult Abuse Check
- Child Abuse Check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
