**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare personal tax returns for individuals.
- Analyze financial information to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Review client documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and provide guidance on tax planning strategies.
- Maintain organized records of all tax-related documents and correspondence.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect clients.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role within financial services.
- Proficiency in Taxprep tax software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications or education in taxation and accounting is a plus.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- personal tax preparation: 1 year (required)
- using TaxPrep software: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English fluently (required)

Work Location: In person
