The Account Representative develops and manages a portfolio of clients in the tax and accounting industry. The role provides product information and demonstrations to potential customers; as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. Account Executives also partner with other groups such as sales operations, marketing, pre-sales support, customer success, and professional services to ensure we are providing the best possible experience for our customers.

About the Role:
In this opportunity as an **Account Representative**, you will:

- Develop your territory by identifying and nurturing new prospects and client opportunities.
- Build and cultivate long term client partnerships by anticipating and assessing customer needs, identifying risks and offering appropriate solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all client matters.
- Effectively communicate value propositions and conduct large group presentations.
- Conduct consultative sales processes focused on understanding the customer’s business needs, challenges and goals.
- Position products and solutions suited to customer requirements.
- Negotiate and close deals.
- Manage book of business including forecasting, account management, and customer relationship management.
- Provide input to marketing regarding product enhancements and new products.
- Participate in events and webcasts to showcase thought leadership.

About You:
You may be a fit for the role if you have/are:

- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or relevant field.
- Minimum three years of software/SaaS sales experience.
- Experience working in a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage audiences of all sizes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form collaborative relationships internally and externally.
- Highly motivated to succeed with a “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Travel may be required.
