Payroll Clerk

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, administer and processing of regular payroll.
- Maintain current employee records in payroll system including entering and updating employee data, pay information, processing terminations, and other adjustments.
- Filing and maintenance of employee files (both paper and electronic), including keeping filing cabinets organized and archiving terminated files as needed.
- Coordinating and processing new employee forms manually and within HR software.
- Tracking and input of hourly employee data from time tracking software.
- Calculation and tracking of various commission and bonus programs.
- Monitor, track, and process employee pay changes.
- Processing information and reporting to Canada Revenue Agency and Worksafe BC. Coordinate T4, ROE, automobile benefits and other tax form processing and administration.
- Input of employee data and coordination of reporting for company health insurance plan.
- Provide ad-hoc payroll-related reports to manager.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with the other departments.
- Posting Daily Cash and Other accounting administrative duties and reporting as needed.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, and benefits administration is preferred.
- Experience working with payroll processing software, Ceridian Power Pay or similar.
- Intermediate computer skills in MS-Office and ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks effectively and to see them through to timely completion.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet regular payroll submission schedule deadlines.
- Team player and willing to support co-workers if needed.
- Experience working in a dealership is an asset.
- Experience using CDK (automotive software) is an asset.

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
