**YOUR MISSION**

**Participate in accounting operations (90%)**
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- In collaboration with the controller, draw up the end of year file and coordinate audits with external auditors as well as the production of external financial statements in compliance with existing standards
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and optimization of financial management-related policies, procedures, and controls.
- Participate in budgetary processes and monitoring, particularly by analyzing budget variances (projected vs. actual budget) on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Participate in the payroll process
- Provide essential information to management to enable them to make informed decisions
- Analyze current accounting activities and propose improvements.
- Support and advise the controller and the Senior Finance Director about risks related to finances, budgets, cash flow, etc.
- Participate in and verify SR&ED declarations
- Participate in other projects as assigned.
- Complete any other tasks in line with his or her functions at the supervisor's request.

**Contribute to organizational development (10%)**
- Take part in meetings relevant to duties
- Collaborate with colleagues on various mandates
- Collaborate on the company's administrative procedures
- Keep knowledge up to date
- Have a BAC in Business administration, accounting option, or a BAC in accounting sciences
- Certified public accountant (CPA)
- 2-3 years in a similar position or in an accounting firm
- Strong analytical skills
- Love problem solving, be solution oriented, and demonstrate creativity in proposed solutions
- Demonstrate integrity
- **Familiarity with IFRS standards a plus**:

- **Software** - Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Familiarity with ERP Genius a plus
- **Languages - Fluent in both oral and written French and English**:

- Demonstrates strong teamwork skills
- Able to adapt and to cope with ambiguity
- Be a good communicator, have the ability to simplify and to adjust his or her communications
- Skilled at communicating sensitive information
- Takes integrity and confidentiality to heart
- Able to work under pressure and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
