**What a Business Manager Does**:
The Business Manager - Retaining Wall Systems is responsible for all aspects of Miller’s pre-cast retaining wall block business. This includes sales, operations, accounting, forecasting, analysis and strategic planning. Meeting the definition of small business we believe Redi-Rock Retaining Wall Systems has a very strong growth potential under a effective Manager’s leadership. The Business Manager - Retaining Wall Systems will be responsible for developing and executing that growth plan.

**As a Business Manager, You Will**:

- Be directly responsible for Pre-Cast Modular Block Systems (Redi - Rock) Retaining Wall System sales and marketing
- Sales and Marketing from Miller’s various locations to current and potential clients
- Will be responsible for business development, including sales calls
- Maintain and develop client relationships to support the growth strategy of Miller
- Track projects within the market area, identify opportunities, follow up and follow through with clients providing detailed and timely quotations
- Work with other Miller business units within the GTA to share market information and opportunities for cross-selling
- Provide information as required to General Manager to assist in their preparation of budgets and financial reviews
- Generate reports analyzing revenue and costs by location, customer, and business groups to understand market demand and pricing
- Ensure a superior level of customer satisfaction is achieved to assist in customer retention and market expansion

**What You'll Bring**:

- University Degree or Technologist/Technician Diploma preferred
- Self-motivating and self-management capability - demonstrate an ability to manage time and priorities
- Results-focused with high energy and a strong work ethic
- Previous landscape design, urban planning would be considered an asset
- Experience with retaining walls would be an asset
- Ability to coordinate with an engineering firm to complete technical submittals, read plans and has a passion for design
- Ability to establish rapport and develop strong relationships with customers
- Communicate effectively with others
- Vehicle for transportation, extensive local travel, valid drivers’ license in good standing
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
