**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
Monitor various queues on the YRP Service Desk and complete change requests, coordinating approval from the Versadex Change Committee when necessary.
Prepare meeting agendas and minutes and facilitate Versadex Change Committee meetings.
Maintain the Versadex Change Committee Collaboration Sharepoint site with recent change requests, issue logs, scheduled updates and documentation.
Establish working relationships with other police agencies/solution user communities to share/exchange information, discuss common issues, requirements, new solutions and business processes.
Participate in internal and external committees and project teams as required.
Collaborate with Vendors, Training Education Bureau and project team to create training materials and develop training plans.
Prepare Court Training Standards, training documents, videos and QRC’s for end users.
Identify business problems and requirements, work with IT technical team, stakeholders and vendors to provide business and technology solution.
Assist the Project Leaders in preparation of project documents including: Project Charter, Project Plan, OPS Plans, Requests for Change, etc.
Conduct project implementation and quality control by preparing user requirement definitions, planning specific tasks, providing direction guidance and technical support to staff, assigning tasks with reasonable deadlines and ensuring adherence to defined schedules.
Update project status timely, provide weekly status reports, and escalate issues as required to Project Leader and/or management staff.
Liaise with vendor to ensure project schedules, guidelines and protocols are adhered to, and client requirements achieved.
Organize and facilitate project team, vendor and stakeholder project meetings.
Work with related business stakeholders such as QAU for procedures and process changing.
Prepare agency-wide communications about upcoming upgrades, updates and software outages.
Monitor new business processes to ensure the integrity of changes and provide support to users during transition.
Review and evaluate the results of program and systems testing with team members, end-users and vendors.
**Education, Licensing & Certifications**
Two (2) year college diploma in Social Science, Computer Science, Police Foundations, Criminology, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
**Experience**
**Skills**
Business Analysis Certification and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of police procedures, process and workflow.
Business analytical and research skills as well as business process re-engineering skills.
Microsoft Office products including Project, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio, Word and Excel.
Experience in using collaboration tools including Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Skype.
Strong project management skills including but not limited to project management principles, standards and tools.
Developed leadership skills. Self-learning skills and desire to learn.
Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills.
Valid Class (G) Driver’s License.
