**General Description**
The ministry relations department is responsible for facilitating, developing, and maintaining relationships with friends of Insight for Living Canada (IFLC) for a mutually satisfying return on investment in order to advance the ministry and its mission. Within the department, the ministry partner co-ordinator works to strengthen the relationships IFLC has with key supporters by encouraging them and caring for their relational and administrative needs. This is preferably a full-time position based out of our Abbotsford, British Columbia office.

**Qualifications**
- Able to relate well with people of all ages and personalities while maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Pre-existing familiarity and appreciation for Pastor Chuck Swindoll and Insight for Living Ministries
- Comfortable praying over the phone or in person with constituents
- Gracious, mature, conscientious, and accountable
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Some Bible college or a discipleship training program
- Familiar with charity and non-profit fundraising
- Able to travel (local and national travel may be required for in-person visits and ministry events)
- Available to work outside of standard office hours as needed

**Core Job Functions**:

- Donor Communications (80%)_
- Collaborating with relevant departments in developing and executing relationship-building strategies
- Participating in the broader organization and execution of supporter-related events
- Collaborating with executive director on supporter visits and/or virtual meetings
- Operations/Administration (15%)_
- Documenting connections with supporters
- Help shape and define the structure of this new position
- Assisting as needed in answering phones and helping supporters particularly at peak times and for holiday coverage
- Other duties as assigned
- Professional Development (5%)_
- Commits to the challenges of growth and development according to a professional development plan
- Pursues knowledge and/or experience with a positive attitude
- Enables colleagues to become better in their pursuits
- Networks with others in similar positions and roles, both internal and external to the Christian community
