**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented **Estimator** to join our team in the hydrovac excavation and industrial tank cleaning sector. This role plays a key part in supporting the sales and operations teams by ensuring bids are thorough, competitive, and aligned with project scope and client requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare cost estimates for hydrovac, tank cleaning, and industrial services.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate scope, access, logistics, and potential hazards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to understand project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.
- Determine labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and permit costs.
- Prepare and submit RFQs/RFPs and formal bid packages.
- Track, review, and update estimates based on project changes or clarifications.
- Maintain detailed records of all estimates, proposals, and project costs for historical tracking.
- Collaborate with operations and project management teams to transition successful bids into active projects.
- Identify opportunities to optimize resources, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

**Required Qualifications**:

- A new grad with a engineering degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); estimating software experience a plus.
- Excellent math, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
