**ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR, Edmonton-Nisku, AB**

**_ PTW is hiring an Electrical Estimator to join our team in the Nisku area._**_ Estimating RENEWABLE projects is a real bonus_**
- If you have at least _3-4 years of Electrical Estimating experience with exposure to; Industrial, Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas, and construction market AND a successful background in winning projects,_ we want to hear from you _You will be able to take initiative, set priorities and be able to produce a detailed proposal efficiently.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
- Reviews proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required content of the estimate.
- Provides input regarding estimating strategies including profitability, risk management, execution strategy, and costs.
- Consults with other departments to ensure labour, equipment and materials reflect current pricing, construction costs and timelines.
- Attends site visits as required.
- Prepares and presents estimate plans, estimate schedules and man-hour budgets.
- Prepares cost estimates associated with scope changes.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS...**
- A Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience or an estimator with at least 3 years previous electrical estimating experience.
- Industrial field experience is preferred.
- Experience in Estimating Renewable (Wind, Solar) Projects is preferred.
- Experience working with estimating software. Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Exceptional time-management skills. Able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly. Thrives in a busy, deadline-oriented environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail. Good problem solver and critical thinker.

- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be resourceful.
- Able to work in a team environment or independently.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Able to work well under pressure.
