**We offer** HOERBIGER Canada is currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. The Key Account Manager is responsible for the commercial success, development, and relationship management of his/her end-user accounts, and prospects, and is always in alignment with the Organizational and Regional strategy. This position works seamlessly Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to provide a best-in-class Customer Experience. The Key Account Manager is instrumental in driving growth in the process and natural gas market. This position is responsible for a region including AB, BC, SK, and MB. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following** - Meet order entry/sales targets and other customer related KPIs in terms of growth, profitability, and volume. - Prepare and deliver proposals to potential and existing customers. - Develop the current accounts, resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty. - Identify customer needs, desired results, key stakeholders. - Develop initiatives and activities to align and contribute to the Customers' short/mid/long term plans and strategies. - Plan and organize sales visits and provide regular reports, market information, competitor information and customer feedback to the Company, including information to enhance product and service development. - Preparation of project related quotations in collaboration with sales management, engineering, and customer service. - Provide accurate and timely forecasting of sales opportunities. - Quote presentation, follow up and negotiations. - Develop HOERBIGER from a product and service supplier into a long-term solution partner. **Requirements** General Requirements** - Engineering qualification (higher technical school, bachelor's degree). - Demonstrated success in a similar technical sales role; minimum of three years practical experience in the region. - Experience in selling in the refineries, petrochemical plants, specialty gas plants, and natural gas plants in the region. - Able to build relationships with customers based on trust and knowledge of products and services. - Excellent communication skills including active listening, ability to make sales and technical presentations, respond to customer questions and effectively negotiate for win-win solutions. - Willing to travel extensively within the region (>50%) Travel also will include participating in local and national trade shows, as well as transborder/international travel for training. - Minimum intermediate level computer skills including MS Office and CRM systems. **Technical/Functional Knowledge Requirements** - Understanding of the Oil and Gas Market (upstream, midstream, and downstream). - Knowledge of rotating and/or reciprocating machinery. **Company Profile** HOERBIGER Canada Limited (HCL) provides upgrade, maintenance, and repair services to users of industrial reciprocating compressors across multiple industries, including natural gas and process gas (refinery, petrochemical, and industrial/specialty gas) accounts.
