**Assistant Bookkeeper - Join Our Team**

**About the Role**

As our Assistant Bookkeeper, you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. From reconciling invoices to processing payments, your attention to detail will help ensure everything is accurate and efficient. This position offers flexibility within office hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), making it a great fit for someone who values work-life balance.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

- Monitoring accounts and processing incoming invoices to ensure they are recorded accurately and promptly.
- Verifying and reconciling invoices and receipts for accuracy and completeness.
- Matching purchase orders to invoices and ensuring proper alignment with financial records.
- Processing and categorizing invoices for various expenses such as utilities, marketing, and operational supplies.
- Managing and recording weekly invoices from service providers to ensure timely entry into the system.
- Reconciling bank accounts, credit card transactions, and other financial records, including deposits, payouts, and online transactions.
- Ensuring invoices are properly linked to payments and all bills are reconciled in the financial system.
- Maintaining and updating employee vacation and sick day records.
- Managing fund transfers between accounts and processing periodic invoicing tasks.
- Assisting with inquiries related to payments and ensuring vendor statements are reviewed and reconciled.

**Details You’ll Need**
- **Job Type**: Part-time
- **Pay**: $20/hour
- **Hours**: Flexible, 15-20 hours per week (between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.)
- **Location**: Speers Road (between 3rd & 4th Line), in-person
