**Bookkeeper - GreenPump Energy**

**About Us**

GreenPump Energy is a fast-growing HVAC company focused on heat pump installations across Nova Scotia. We’re lean, aggressive, and scaling quickly — but we need help cleaning up and owning our books. If you know how to bring order to financial chaos, we want you.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Take over Accounts Receivable: invoice clients, track payments, follow up on late ones.
- Manage Accounts Payable: record and pay vendor bills, keep supplier accounts clean.
- Process contractor commissions and payments — we have admins, closers, and door reps.
- Ensure every contractor submits proper invoices before being paid.
- Reconcile monthly expenses, payroll payouts, and bank statements.
- Clean up and maintain our QuickBooks (or help migrate to a better setup if needed).
- Coordinate with our external accountant on tax filings and CRA compliance.
- Help us enforce contractor agreements and payment tracking workflows.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Experience in bookkeeping for small businesses (ideally in construction/trades/HVAC)
- Solid with QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, and basic payroll practices
- Comfortable working independently — we need someone who’ll own this, not wait to be told what to do
- Familiarity with contractor classification and CRA rules (big plus)
- Bonus if you’ve worked with commission-based pay structures
