**Job Title: Bookkeeper**

**Job Type**: Full-Time (3 to 5 days per week)
**Location**: Scanway Catering, Halifax, NS (In-Person)
**Compensation**: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Record financial transactions, reconcile bank statements, and maintain general finances
- Assist with payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with our accountant to ensure accurate financial records
- Handle multiple tasks and priorities with strong attention to detail

**Qualifications**
- 3-4 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- **Proficiency in QuickBooks is required**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge about Catering is beneficial
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a small team environment

**Interview Process**
- **Round 1**: In-person interview
- **Round 2**: Skill test to assess QuickBooks knowledge and attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS B3J 3Y6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
