ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking individuals with experience as a Systems Analyst for upcoming opportunities with ARC’s clients. This is a 6 month contract and is a hybrid role based in Edmonton.

**ROLE: SYSTEMS ANALYST**
- Knowledge of system development life cycle, structured systems development concepts, as well as software development methodologies.
- Knowledge and skills of modern deployment practices and tooling for release and deployment management.
- Excellent customer service skills and habits are a must.
- Able to organize and prioritize your work independently.
- Ability to support end users at an intermediate level.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong abilities in T-SQL Querying and database performance troubleshooting.

Scope:

- This position is main point of contact for all IT Applications to internal staff and external members.
- Provides extensive IT Application support by acknowledging, prioritizing, organizing, and following up on inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and understand problems from a broad, interactive perspective and can develop solutions that combine information and ideas.
- Strong ability to work with diverse groups of people, build professional and productive relationships with colleagues and vendors.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently or in teams and meet tight time sensitive deadlines by prioritizing work and multitasking.
- Anticipates problems and works proactively to solve them through creative thinking and making decisions in a changing environment.
- Work closely with different stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into fully functional solutions.
- Ability to communicate ideas, project and process concepts, both orally and in writing, with ease and clarity
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality technical documentation.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary degree in IST, computer science, software development or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible related experience in medium IT environments.
- Certification in.NET, C#, SQL, ITIL 4 or other related certificates considered an asset.
- Experience in software development using Microsoft and Atlassian tools will be an asset.

Degree designations (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Computing Science, MBA) and/or vendor technical certifications are desirable criteria for our selection.
