**About the Role**

LJ Welding Automation is seeking a business analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in improving operational efficiency, data integrity, and decision-making across the organization.

The Business Analyst acts as a bridge between operations, finance, engineering, sales, supply chain, and technology by translating business needs into practical system, process, and reporting solutions. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role well suited for someone who enjoys working across the shop floor and leadership teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, challenges, and workflows
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Translate business needs into functional requirements for ERP systems, reporting, and process improvements
- Serve as a key internal resource for ERP system usage, data integrity, and continuous improvement
- Support ERP reporting, data extraction, and troubleshooting in coordination with vendors or internal teams
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support operational and financial decision-making
- Map current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design improved future-state processes
- Support digital transformation initiatives, including automation and responsible AI adoption
- Develop documentation, job aids, and training materials to support system and process changes

**Desired Skills & Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing or project-based environment
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) considered an asset
- Proven ability to document and improve business processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with both frontline teams and leadership
