Reporting to the Manager, Product Management, the Product Manager is responsible for managing the ongoing alignment between the company's products and solutions with the needs, trends, and preferences of global markets. This includes defining product requirements, managing product life cycle, pricing strategy, education, and competitor analysis within the target markets/channels. The Product Manager capitalizes relationships with internal and external influencers to maintain a high level of awareness and familiarity of operational capabilities, economic shifts, compliance and regulatory changes, and relevant trends and technology advances within the product range.

Partners with sales and extended marketing team, Engineering, and other functional groups to collaboratively create and execute product growth strategies and plans to increase customer engagement, improve relationships, build brand equity, drive strategic growth, and improve margins and overall profitability at a global level.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to generate and prioritize new product concepts.
- Leads Voice of the Customer efforts for existing and new markets to identify new product development opportunities.
- Analyzes market research (trends/ $ potential) to stay current and develop insights into marketing opportunities.
- Analyzes competitor products, market dynamics, and internal capabilities, leads cross functional team to identify and prioritize opportunities and threats.
- Crafts and manages product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and qualified market needs.
- Ensure product success (Launch to Obsolescence) by:

- Formulates product strategy, delineating value propositions and leveraging product differentiators.
- Creates and manages price lists, part numbers, organizes product configuration matrix, and all other product management details related to the product line.
- Responsible for the commercial P&L of product line, takes actions to achieve Business Plan goals.
- Works closely with sales and engineering leadership team to create and activate go to market plans that align with company strategy.
- Generates on-demand reports and analyzes data to assist management in assessing the overall well-being of the product portfolio and making decisions based on data-driven insights.
- Coordinates launch activities with Sales and MARCOM by:

- Develops and activates launch plans, outlining key milestones, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Manages set-up of required product information within on-line tools (internet, extranet, intranet, and configurator).
- Supports Sales and extended marketing team through pre
- and post-launch activities.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and development, to ensure alignment and effective communications are in place.
- Supports various segment / product training programs.
- Conducts initial assessments to identify the specific training needs of different teams or
- Conducts product training webinars and on-site presentations for sales, manufacturer
- representative teams and customers.
- Creates training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and interactive modules, to facilitate effective learning.

**Do you qualify? We are seeking**:

- College or university degree, preferably in Engineering or Technologist diploma
- 5+ years of experience working in the Electrical Industry; minimum of 3+ within electrical Industry markets, transformers, and related magnetic products.
- 3+ years demonstrated experience in using qualitative and quantitative market research data
- with the ability to align the research and methodology with project requirements.
- 3+ years working as a product manager, with business-to-business market segmentation; experience and familiarity with developing new segmentation models.
- Solid knowledge of product management fundamentals
- Experience in conducting voice of customer interviews.
- Customer-centric focus with a proven track record of building lasting relationships.
- Strong coordination and deadline-oriented skills, adaptable in leading or contributing to multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficient in translating market research into clear strategies for targeted segments.
- Expertise in navigating compliance and regulatory changes, understanding their impact on market preferences and product offerings.
- Ability to discern market drivers and indicators, coupled with intellectual curiosity and a datacentric approach to challenge and enhance critical thinking.
- Operationally driven, always seeking improvement, and comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, including C-level.
- Skilled in requirements development through customer interaction, competitive benchmarking, and market analysis.
- Effective collaborator across functions and levels, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
