**About PEIBWA**:
The PEI Business Women’s Association (PEIBWA) is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes women in business across Prince Edward Island. Through mentorship, networking, training, and events, we empower women entrepreneurs and professionals to achieve their business goals.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **1. Social Media Management & Content Creation**_
- Create engaging social media posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Follow a content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic messaging.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages to foster member engagement.
- Highlight PEIBWA members through interviews, spotlight posts, and success stories.
- Capture and edit photos and videos for use in social media and marketing materials.
- Develop testimonials that showcase member and organization achievements.
- **2. Brand Promotion & Awareness**:_
- Assist in promoting PEIBWA programs, events, and initiatives on social media platforms.
- Create promotional graphics and marketing materials using design tools (e.g., Canva).
- **3. Event Support**:_
- Assist in marketing PEIBWA events through social media platforms.
- Provide on-site support for events, including photography, social media updates, and member engagement.
- **4. Administrative & Other Duties**:_
- Track social media engagement and provide performance reports.
- Support organizations tasks as assigned.
- **Qualifications & Skills**:_
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Photography and video editing experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Own Vehicle
- Carry a Class 5 graduated license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
