This year-round, full-time, excluded position is primarily located in Charlottetown, PEI, with occasional travel to our ships and terminals in PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Maine.

**PRIMARY PURPOSE**:
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Help drive marketing and customer experience efforts outlined in annual strategies.
- Coordinate and review social media content.
- Monitor company website and customer feedback channels.
- Post operational information on social media channels.
- Oversee digital signage and poster frame networks.
- Arrange design and distribution of marketing collateral.
- Assist in executing onboard programming including Seaside Experiences and Music on Deck.
- Collaborate with the Northumberland Ferries Hospitality Manager to merchandise and promote a seasonal Ice Cream/Gift Shop.
- Maintain inventory of marketing assets including displays and branded merchandise.
- Attend events including trade shows, community events and industry conferences.
- Arrange Ferry Passes and Travel Certificates.
- Assess and coordinate travel media requests and media influencer visits.
- Assist in executing partnership and advertising agreements.
- Other duties as assigned by the Marketing and Customer Experience Managers.

**Education, Experience**:

- Post-secondary educationinmarketingor relatedfield.
- Minimumof threeyears’proven work experienceinasimilarmarketingrole.
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
- Experience creating and reviewing social media and website content.

**Other Skills and Abilities**:

- Innovative and creative individualable to self-direct and collaborate with various departments.
- The abilityto successfullyplanandcoordinatemultipleprojectswhile remaining organized and efficient.
- Demonstrateddecision-makingskills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Tourism/hospitality experience is an asset.
- French/English bilingualism is an asset.
- Valid passport for travel to the U.S.

**Schedule and Work Environment**:
The workplace is the head office in Charlottetown, PEI. The hours for this position are generally from 8am to 4pm, Monday-Friday; however, as an essential industry operating seven days a week, evening and weekend work is sometimes required.
