The High Hopes Out of School and preschool program follows Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Curriculum Framework. We implement the Flight Curriculum, a strength-based approach designed to provide age-appropriate care. Our monthly programming is thoughtfully planned based on the needs, interests, and abilities of the children we serve. We are looking for passionate and dedicated Out-of-School-Age Educators, Preschool Educators and Casual Educators to join our team If you love working with children, creating engaging activities, and fostering a supportive environment, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for multiple educators to start from the 2025 school year (September, 2025).

Role one: Supervisor (full-time)

Role two: Room educators (Full-time)

Role three: Causal preschool educators, and floating educators

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage children aged 5-12 years old in a safe and inclusive environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including arts, outdoor and indoor.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing space that meets licensing and health regulations.

**Qualifications**

Minimum ECE Level 1, 2, or 3，Supervisory role requires experience in an early childhood education setting for at least 1 years of working, familiar with license regulations, the act and health regulations.

Full-time roles require experience in an early childhood education setting for at least 1 year of working.

We welcome studying educators to take our Casual role work part-time or practicum with paid hours to expand your experience in working as an educator, an interview is needed.

Experience working with children in a group setting.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Clear and current criminal record and vulnerable sector check validated within 6 months.
