**Key Responsibilities**:
Dalton Associates is seeking a **full time Accounting Coordinator** with **exceptional customer service, attention to detail and problem-solving skills**. This position is **in Fergus** (temporary hybrid model available: 3 days in office -2 days remote work).

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
**Verify, match, and check documentation related to accounts receivable invoices**
- Process payments received by credit card, checks, EFT, e-transfers
- Investigate and correct errors, process credit memos, refunds, adjustments
- Collection calls, follow up on outstanding items, research and resolve discrepancies
- Telephone and virtual support for contractor enquiries including general/mental health invoicing and session documentation, payment processing
- Telephone support for client inquiries: resending invoices, invoice correction requests, customer statements, update payment information,
- Submit client invoices to various third parties for payment
- Process and reconcile payables transactions paid by various credit cards
- Create and review journal entries and related accounting schedules
- Additional duties as necessary

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of accounting experience or recent accounting program graduate
- Detail oriented, customer oriented, strong personal commitment to successfully completing projects
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Working knowledge with ERP accounting software would be an asset
- Adaptable and able to handle multiple priorities, open to embrace changes and think outside the box
- Post-Secondary Degree, working towards CPA designation would be an asset
- Must be highly proficient with Excel
- MVA, WSIB and EHB billing experience is an asset
- Able to navigate and strive in a fast-paced, ever changing work environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
