The Sales Manager is responsible for selling our catering services through events and corporate accounts. Our Event and Corporate Sales Managers are seasoned professionals in the field who take pride in designing and creating _delicious moments_ for every occasion, big or small. Always working to expand and promote Peake brand, Sales Managers are expected to know and display the Peake Core Values.

**Reports to**:
This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
**Major Responsibilities**
- Attends weekly meetings with the operations and production teams to review next week’s events and orders
- Attends weekly departmental meetings and briefings
- Sales calls to new and existing clients to encourage new business
- Timely follow up with established clients for feedback and encouraging repeat orders
- Receiving and processing payments from clients - interfacing with the Finance Director to ensure payments are received promptly
- Communication with the Staffing Manager regarding staffing needs on upcoming events
- Available to attend occasional key events as a representative of the Sales team
- Ensure all production sheets and event gigbooks are accurate, detailed and distributed as needed
- Ensure the preparation of events and communicate challenges/changes as to the appropriate departments
- *Tasks outside of those outlined in the job description may be required during times of increased demand***Ongoing expectations and Physical/Mental Demands**
- This position requires long periods of both standing and sitting
- Frequent interruptions from team members, environmental noise, and tight deadlines
- This position may require basic math skills and strong interpersonal skills
Monday to Friday
8 hour days (typically) - 8-8:30am - 4-4:30pm
- Off-site event hours outside of normal schedule to be paid at an event manager rate.
