Cantrav Services Inc. is Canada’s leading destination management and event production company. We specialize in corporate meetings, incentive travel and special event planning servicing Western Canada, Quebec and Ontario.

The Coordinator, Sales & Events is responsible for supporting the Sales Department including regional managers achieve its annual revenue targets and help generate demand for Cantrav and it's event and production services.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
**Sales & Marketing Activities**
- Assist sales team with the development of proposals, program grids and CRM management;
- Field new enquiries when sales people are absent from the office
- Develop and prepare sales and marketing tools including presentations, documents and sales related correspondence as required
- Support digital marketing and online presence as required
- Coordinate supplier interactions during the initial setup of sites and fams including scheduling of appointments and site itinerary preparation
- Develop and foster client and supplier/partner relationships
- Support event managers with event operations
- Support supplier/partner events including the preparation of invitations, manage the RSVPs and venue booking
- Prepare sales reports and conduct data analysis

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Good oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to make decisions, manage logistics, multi-task, and meet project deadlines
- Superior organization and communication skills, attention to detail as well as the ability to successfully manage changing priorities
- Demonstrated experience producing high quality work and outcomes along with commitment to accuracy
- Demonstrated problem solving capabilities, organizing and budgeting skills
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- An understanding and familiarity with tourism is an asset as are languages;
- Knowledge of Vancouver and Whistler tourism areas is an asset
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as business needs require
- Must hold a valid passport and be able to travel
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Event Planning industry

**Compensation**

Total compensation is based on qualifications and experience and eligible for employee benefits.

**Salary**: From $40,500.00 per year
