**Purpose**:
This position reports to the Sales and Marketing Director and focuses on selling our catering services through events and corporate accounts. The role involves prospecting, account management, and building industry relationships. The position offers a competitive base salary of $55,000, with the opportunity to earn significant additional income through a commission plan based on individual sales performance.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Conduct sales calls to new clients to capture business opportunities.
- Follow up with new clients to gather feedback on previous services, encourage repeat orders, and request referrals to other departments or new prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Director to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals and optimize the sales process.
- Meet with clients to determine their specific needs and expectations, ensuring timely communication to all Peake departments for successful execution.
- Actively promote the Peake brand, schedule meetings with prospective clients, and attend “lunch & learn” presentations.
- Ensure all production sheets and event gig books are accurate and detailed, communicating all client expectations to relevant departments, outside suppliers, and event staff.
- Participate in industry events to promote the Peake brand.

**Working Expectations and Physical/Mental Demands**:

- Position will occasionally require extended periods of standing and moving at events.
- Local travel to and from event sites is required.
- Frequent interruptions from various departments or clients for assistance.
- The office environment may be noisy and bustling at times.
- Occasional event setup involving moving and lifting may be necessary.

**Education, Experience and Training**:

- 2+ years of sales and prospecting experience, preferably in the events or food and beverage industry, or equivalent food knowledge.
- 2+ years of event planning experience.
- Experience using Caterease or other EMS software is a plus.
- Experience presenting to senior managers and executives.
