**Steel Fabricator / Fabrication Technician**

We are currently looking for an experienced Steel Fabricator or Fabrication Technician to join our team We are a supply only structural steel fabricator, servicing both the Canadian and US markets. As a single source fabricator, we work closely with our customers to find innovative solutions to complex problems, and we deal with customer concerns promptly and efficiently. $26 - $28/ hour (Depending upon Experience)

Morning: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM (Mon-Fri) (Must be present at 6:50AM)

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with overhead crane and lift truck is an asset (training will be provided for the lift truck - NO license required)
- Experience welding structural steel components (CWB certificate an asset, either expired OR current)
- Good understanding of metal fabrication
- Experience in fabricating handrail, stairs, columns ad beams
- Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings.

- Strong organizational skills
- Team Player

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:

- MUST be able to read and interpret structural steel blueprint drawings.
- Comfortable using fabrication shop machines and tools (impact gun, grinder, painting steel)
- Interview before Required (to understand the work, tour the shop, and get tested on structural steel blueprint dwg. reading)

**MUST BE RESPECTABLE and professional (no swearing, must work well with the team and respect the members)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$28.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
