**About this Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity to join a skilled team in manufacturing.

Under general supervision, The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair or replace broken or faulty services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and production facilities machinery. Duties may increase in scope as skill set becomes more developed; primary emphasis is the performance of a variety of maintenance tasks rather than a high degree of skill in any trade and ensure all duties are performed in compliance with Company safety and hygiene requirements, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical devices and facilities.
- Completion of PM’s and corrective maintenance work orders.
- Repair broken or faulty machine parts and support company projects.
- Troubleshoot and detect CNC equipment for malfunctions on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform emergency repairs and machine relocation
- Review equipment drawings and create spare part lists.
- Basic fabrication and welding.
- Housekeeping of work areas.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Previous mechanical experience, mechanically inclined.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organization skills. Able to multi-task.
- Familiar with measuring tools.
- Familiar with maintenance equipment (lathes, mills, surface grinders, welding machines, etc.)
- Must have a driver license
