As part of a pilot project the Department of Social Development is seeking qualified individuals to work as Human Service Counsellors in the Southeast Zone.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**: Graduation from high school supplemented by completion of an approved certification program at a post-secondary level specializing in special needs/human services counselling and some related experience (3 months to 1 year); or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

**Written and spoken competence in English and French is required for some positions while for other positions written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.**

Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please ensure that preferred language for assessment is identified on your resume.

**OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**: Some positions require working on weekends, variable hours and having your own means of transportation within the assigned Zone.
