We are seeking a mature and reliable person who is interested in working in the corrections field. **Fluent in both official languages is preferred** along with **required** educational completion either a University Degree or College certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in the human services field.

This is a **Guaranteed Casual **position, the shifts are set at every second weekend, **overnights**.

You must have the ability to Supervise 16-20 people in a fast paced environment while working under pressure.

**Specific Skills**

Obtain information and prepare reports or case histories, Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services, Provide suicide and crisis intervention, Resolve conflict situations, Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses, Assist offenders in pre-release and release planning, Implement behaviour management programs, Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
