**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding, including new hire orientation and paperwork completion.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS system, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Support the HR team with employee relations matters, such as conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Support payroll and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Support engagement activities and recognition programs.
- Handle general HR inquiries and provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters.
- Work with BambooHR HRIS.
- Participation in firm committees’ (social, team planning, health & safety).
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree, or other educational certificate, in human resources.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR.
- Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Assets:

- Bilingualism.
- Experience in human resources in a professional services environment.
- Familiarity with BambooHR.
